We love the Millennium Group Restaurants, and the concept behind 600 Kitchen and Bar is nothing short of amazing. Located on Kalamazoo’s Rivers Edge Neighborhood, on the northwest corner of The Foundry, the building was once a grey-iron foundry built around 1905. The Millennium Group wanted to keep the history of the building alive, and the west facing brick wall and the steel work in the ceiling are original. How cool is that?!

I love the high ceilings, beautiful wood, and industrial feel of the restaurant. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiling faces. 600 Kitchen and Bar offers a full bar, farm to table style food, craft cocktails, and a wonderful staff. There is a beautiful bench running along the main wall and the back wall for booth style seating, beautiful wooden tables, and an upstairs seating area for hosting parties, corporate events, and more!

Martini's Kalamazoois a family owned restaurant that has been serving Kalamazoo since 1988. Martini's has expanded over the years, but one thing stayed the same, the quality ingredients and love that goes into every dish! Serving Italian food with twist, Martini's sources the freshest ingredients from local Michigan Farmer's, and partners with local purveyors whenever possible.

I love the light and airy atmosphere at Martini's. From the wooden bar and tables, to the chalkboards behind the pizza counter with encouraging quotes, and the stained-glass windows, it all adds an artsy charm to the restaurant. They also have a cozy patio with lights strung about and umbrellas that over-look some of their beautiful flower and herb gardens. Among the flowers, you can find many types of herbs including Mint, Basil, Oregano and more used in some of their cocktails and dishes!

Rykse & Cois a family owned company that has been around for over 30 years. They recently combined their entire operation to Texas Corners, from Stadium Drive, bringing the old and new together! They offer full-service breakfast and lunch, as well as their famous award-winning baked goods and popular 'Rykse on the Run' deli meals.

This family owned business has a passion for serving home-made food daily using the freshest ingredients and it shines through in presentation and taste! If you only order one thing, let it be one of their giant cinnamon rolls!
